CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program. There are three main programs within CyberPatriot: the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition, AFA CyberCamps and the Elementary School Cyber Education Initiative. CyberPatriot was conceived by the Air Force Association (AFA) to inspire high school students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future. About us

DickJeffreys

Our chapter has over 800 members in the San Diego area. Our purpose is to be the force behind the force in our local community.

We support the people and the missions of the local Air Force units in San Diego. We also support retired Air Force members locally providing a valuable link to the Air Force and its global mission.

Our members are a positive force in the community supporting local schools and students. We meet the last Thursday of every month, usually at Filippi's Pizza.

Our meetings are open to all members and prospective members. We hope you can become involved with your local Air Force Association Chapter.

President - Dick Jeffreys
Vice President - Gene Alfaro
Secretary - Jim Trageser
Treasurer - Jack Porath.

Summer Social General Membership Meeting

A special meeting will be held this month on the 29th of July which is mainly a social; husbands, wives, friends, significant others, etc., are all invited.  The location will be the San Diego Mission Bay Boat and Ski Club located at 2606 North Mission Bay Drive; west of the Mission Bay Golf Course and at the right immediately prior to the foot bridge going from Mission Bay to the De Anza Trailer Court.  Menu is here

We cook our own steaks and all ordering is via the bartender.  Other items are cooked for you.  Do not expect table service; this is serve and clean-up yourself.  Do not expect all food prepared and served at the same time; this is get it when it is ready.   Once you cook your steak, bring to the Galley on a fresh plate where the fixings will then be applied.  There are three grills available to cook your steaks.

This has proven to be a fun event.  The food is top quality and the price is right!  To ensure sufficient steaks are on hand (they are cut to order), I need a count of those attending AND THOSE WHO MIGHT want steak.  The is NO problem changing from steak to a prepared item once you arrive; the “pre-order” is to ensure sufficient beef (Angus, Prime Rib) is on hand.

Please send intention of attending AND IF STEAK MIGHT BE ORDERED (ALONG WITH THE SIZE) to:

Jack Porath, Treasurer

Send your intentions by 24 July 2016.
