Nominate our Next Teacher of the Year

Would you like your teacher to earn additional recognition and some extra money for what he/she does?  Our Chapter of the Air & Space Forces Association is now accepting nominations for Teacher of the Year, grades K-12, for those involved with STEM.

 

The purpose of the program is to recognize those involved with the teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) thus preparing our youth to use and contribute to the technology of tomorrow that we believe to be essential.

 

The due date for submission is April 6, 2026.  Nominee information required:

              

  1. Name.

  2. Mailing Address.

  3. Daytime Phone Number.

  4. Email.

  5. Subject(s) & Grade(s) taught.

  6. Years teaching STEM courses.

  7. Total Years of Teaching.

  8. School Name.

  9. School Address.

  10. School Phone & contact Email.

  11. Name of Principal.

  12. Principal’s Email.

Additional information MUST include:

●      One page Narrative.

●      One or more letters of Recommendation (school Principal or higher).

●      News articles, photographs, etc. that involve the teacher and students with STEM activities.

(Please ensure that students in photos have media release permission for use.)

 

Award recipients may receive, as a minimum:

●      Certificate of Excellence and Pin from Air & Space Forces Association

●      Check, Certificate, and dinner (for two) at a meeting of the San Diego Chapter

●      One year membership in the Air & Space Forces Association
